After completing her internship in Emergency Medicine at Doctors Hospital, Columbus, Ohio she went on to serve her active duty tour for four years. Stationed in middle Georgia at Robins AFB, Captain McKenzie was trained as a flight surgeon specialized in aerospace medicine, primarily managing the care of aviators and special operations personnel. Dr. McKenzie served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award.Her passion for the integrative medicine model evolved naturally as an osteopathic trained physician.
